How Our Network Works
Who you talk to
You talk to an independent local provider in our network. Each provider runs their own business, sets their own prices and does their own work. Domesticthinks Pest Control only makes the introduction.
That means the person who inspects your home is the person responsible for the plan and the quote. Ask them anything.
What happens on the call
1. Describe the problem in plain words. 2. Say where it is: kitchen, attic, basement, yard. 3. Share how long it has been going on. 4. Ask about timing. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies. 5. Ask how an inspection and quote work.
Request a callback to check provider availability.
What to ask a provider
Use this list. Write down the answers.
- Are you licensed in Missouri for this work?
- What is included in the quote, in writing?
- Which products or methods will you use?
- Are they safe around pets and children?
- Will you seal entry points, or only treat?
- Is a follow-up visit included, and how is it priced?
- What do I need to do before you arrive?
For wildlife, also ask how animals are removed and what happens to young animals in a nest.
Costs
Prices vary by pest, home size and severity. Typical U.S. ranges are a one-time pest treatment of about $100 to $400, rodent work of a few hundred to over a thousand dollars, and termite treatment from around $500 to several thousand. Get a written quote, and compare it with the scope of work, not just the price.
Tips for a smooth visit
- Clear access to the problem area, such as under the sink or around the attic hatch.
- Note where you saw signs and when.
- Move pet food and bowls out of the way.
- Ask what to expect after treatment.
You are in control
- You can ask questions and say no.
- You can compare more than one quote.
- You choose if and when to book.
- Nothing is owed to Domesticthinks Pest Control by you.
